Realme 16 5G Series and Realme C83 5G Receive New Price Hike in India

As per the latest updated pricing, the Realme 16 Pro, Realme 16 5G, and Realme C83 5G smartphones have received a new price hike in India. Notably, this is the second price hike for the Realme 16 5G series in just a short span of time.

Speaking more, the Realme 16 Pro 5G, has received the biggest price hike among the newly revised models. All three variants of the device have become costlier by INR 3,000. The 8GB + 128GB variant is now priced at INR 40,999, while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants now carry price tags of INR 43,999 and INR 46,999, respectively.

Coming to the vanilla Realme 16 5G, all its variants have received an INR 1,000 price hike, making the 8GB + 128GB model priced at INR 35,999, while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants are now listed at INR 38,999 and INR 41,999, respectively.

The Realme C83 5G has also received a price hike, after which its 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB variants have become costlier by INR 1,000 and are now priced at INR 17,499 and INR 19,499, respectively. On the other hand, the 6GB + 128GB variant has received a higher INR 2,000 price hike and is now available for INR 22,499.

What is worth noting is that smartphone brands have now started increasing prices almost every two weeks, and the way the prices are being revised, it appears that mid-range smartphones may soon start touching the INR 50,000 price segment. Until and unless the ongoing component pricing issue is resolved, more price hikes from other smartphone brands can also be expected in the coming weeks.
