Rumours had been surrounding for a while that Apple may increase the pricing of its products soon, and even Apple CEO Tim Cook had earlier hinted at the same in an interview, citing high component costs. Now, what was being expected seems to have happened, as Apple has reportedly revised the prices of most of its product lineup in India.

Apple Product Prices in India Revised; iPhones Remain Unaffected for Now
Apple has now reportedly revised the prices of most of its products in the Indian market, with the price hike ranging from INR 5,000 and going all the way up to INR 1.7 lakh. However, to note, the iPhone models have not been affected by this current price hike, but it remains to be seen whether the brand will revise their prices too in the coming days or not.
Speaking about the iPad lineup first, the base iPad model which was earlier priced at INR 34,990 is now said to be priced at INR 49,990, showing a hike of INR 15,000. The iPad mini has also reportedly received a price hike from INR 49,900 to INR 69,900, while the iPad Air price has been increased from INR 64,900 to INR 89,900. The iPad Pro has also seen a major price revision, as its price has gone up from INR 99,990 to INR 1,39,900.

As mentioned, the iPhone lineup has not been affected by this latest price hike for now. However, looking at how Apple has revised prices across most of its product categories in India, it remains to be seen whether the iPhone models will also receive a similar price revision in the coming days or not. Reportedly, Amazon is still showing the old pricing for some of these Apple products, meaning buyers may still be able to grab them at their previous prices for the time being.
