Looking more into the details, the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination is scheduled to take place on the 21st of June 2026, and the restriction has been placed just ahead of the exam. Telegram’s message-editing feature has also reportedly been disabled across India until the 30th of June 2026. This is said to prevent scammers from fabricating fake paper leak-related proofs by editing old messages, timestamps, or message contents after the examination.
In related news, the recent NEET paper leak issue has already raised major concerns across the country, and the authorities appear to be taking stricter measures to ensure that the upcoming re-examination is conducted in a fair manner. The messaging platform is expected to be available again after June 22, 2026.
