Meta-owned Instagram has been actively rolling out multiple new features over the past few months. After recently launching customisable app icons for teen accounts, the platform has now introduced a fun new feature that allows users to doodle and drop stickers or emojis directly onto their DMs.
Unlike the customisable app icons, which were limited to teen users, this new feature is available to all Instagram users, regardless of age.
Here’s how it works:
- Open your DMs and tap on the stickers icon.
- Press and hold the sticker you want to use, then drag and place it anywhere on the DM screen.
In addition to this, users can also draw anywhere within their DMs. Simply tap the plus (+) icon, select the Draw option, and start doodling freely across the chat screen.
