Teens Can Now Change Their Instagram App Icon with Six New Designs

Instagram customizable icons for Teens

Meta-owned Instagram is now rolling out a new feature, though it’s currently limited to teen accounts. This new feature allows users to customise their app icons, adding a more personal touch to their Instagram experience.

A total of six icons have been introduced, which include Fire, Floral, Cosmic, Slime, and a few more — all designed by illustrator @doncarrrlos (Carlos Oliveras Colom) in collaboration with Instagram.

To access these new icons — again, available only for teen accounts — open your Instagram app. At the top of the screen, you’ll see the Instagram logo; tap and hold it, and a new screen will appear, allowing you to choose your preferred app icon. Once you’ve selected the one you like, simply tap Save, and that’s it.

According to Instagram, these customisable app icons are designed to help users express themselves creatively while focusing on what matters most to them.
