Xiaomi Announces XRING O1, 15s Pro, Pad 7 Ultra, and YU7 Launch in China; Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro Pre-Booking Now Live in China
The Chinese leading consumer electronics maker – Xiaomi has now announced its 15th Anniversary Strategic New Product Launch, and many of the brand’s latest products are going to be unveiled at the upcoming event in China. In related news, Xiaomi has also begun the pre-booking for the Civi 5 Pro smartphone too in its home market, and has shared a few more teaser updates.

Xiaomi’s 15th Anniversary Strategic New Product Launch – Officially Announced
As per what has been shared, Xiaomi will be conducting its 15th Anniversary Strategic New Product Launch on the 22nd of May 2025 at 7PM local time, and this upcoming event will mark the debut of the XRING O1 flagship chip, 15s Pro smartphone, Pad 7 Ultra tablet, and YU7 SUV. The brand has also teased a few key details of the XRING O1 chip, stating that it has been developed and designed independently by Xiaomi itself, and has been made using the 2nd generation 3nm process technology (not 5nm as earlier mentioned). A total of 19 billion transistors have been used in it, and the development process took 4 years.
Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro – New Teasers and Pre-Booking Details
About the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro, interested customers can now pre-book this device in the Chinese market via Xiaomi Home, Xiaomi Mall, Xiaomi Youpin, as well as through other major e-commerce platforms. Customers pre-booking the device will also be eligible to receive a free 1-year extended warranty worth CNY 199.
Coming to the newly teased specs, the brand has now teased that the next Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro will sport a full-focus Leica professional triple camera system and a 50MP ultra-sensitive front-facing camera – both offering enhanced night photography capability. In addition to the dynamic/live camera capability, the brand has also revealed that the Civi 5 Pro will be offering many other editing functionalities too. Layout, editing, and fast forwarding features will be offered in the album. It will also be supporting dynamic/live photo sharing on Moments, Weibo, Douyin, and Xiaobao. Moreover, one-click transfer between Apple devices is also a key specification.
Speaking more, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, 3D convex ring cold pump, independent e-sports antenna, 6.55″ micro-curved display screen with ultra-narrow bezels, 6000 mAh battery backup, 73.2 mm width, 7.45 mm thickness, and Purple/Pink colors have already been teased. About its launch, it will also be breaking its cover this month in May 2025.
