Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro Officially Teased in China: Launching This Month

The tech world has already come across multiple updates and reports concerning Xiaomi’s next Civi 5 Pro smartphone and following all these, the upcoming device has now been officially teased in the Chinese market. A few of its key features have been pointed out, and it is set to launch this month in the country.

Here’s more about it.

Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro – Launching This Month in China

The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro smartphone has been teased as an ‘all-round thin and light flagship’ and it will be inheriting the flagship experience offered in the brand’s digital or number series (Xiaomi 15 series). Xiaomi’s next Civi 5 Pro is also said to be the most powerful Civi in history, and notably it will be offering Leica professional imaging capabilities, along with improved performance and display. Longer battery life has also been teased as a key aspect of the device.

About its revealed first look design, it appears to have a metal frame and a glass back – both flat in shape. The side panels have antenna lines, and the volume rockers and power button can be seen on the right side panel. The rear panel also features a particular design on it, and a projected circular camera module can be spotted at its top-left portion, housing three even projected camera sensors. An LED light strip is placed at the right of the camera module, and the LEICA (VARIO-SUMMILUX, 1:1.63-2.2/15-60 ASPH) branding can be found at its top. Towards the bottom-left portion, Xiaomi-branding can be spotted as well. The thin form factor design can also been seen in its side profile, and it can be understood that Xiaomi’s Civi 5 Pro will be having a quad-curved display screen.

Regarding certain other teased camera specs, better night photography thanks to the Leica pure optics, Leica floating telephoto camera, upgraded full focal length high-speed lens at the rear, upgraded 50MP ultra-sensitive front camera lens, super-transparent nano-prism, and +25% photo-sensitivity are part of the camera system.

Speaking of the launch, the teaser posters mention ‘New products will be released soon’, while in the Weibo post the brand notes – ‘See you this month’. This means, we will be able to witness the debut of the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro flagship in the Chinese market this month in May 2025 itself, earlier than what the previous update suggested.
