With the Vivo T5 5G scheduled to launch in India on the 2nd of September 2026, Vivo has started revealing the key specifications of its upcoming T-series smartphone. The brand has now confirmed its chipset, AI processor and colour options, while the Flipkart microsite has revealed when its remaining features will be announced.

Vivo T5 5G – Chipset, Colour Options and Specification Reveal Schedule
According to the latest post shared by Vivo India, the upcoming Vivo T5 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset, paired with the MediaTek NPU 850 for handling AI-related workloads.
Vivo further claims that the T5 5G will be the first smartphone from the brand to feature the Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset. Additionally, the device has been confirmed to arrive in Silver Green and Royal Bronze colour options.
Looking into a previous update, the Vivo T5 5G was initially believed to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S2, which was recently introduced in India. This was primarily because both smartphones feature a similar curved display and Skyline Design with a horizontal pill-shaped rear camera module.
However, with the chipset now confirmed, it appears that the Vivo T5 5G could arrive with a different set of specifications. Whether the upcoming smartphone will only borrow the design of the Vivo S2 or share some of its other features remains to be seen.
Speaking more, Vivo has also updated the Vivo T5 5G microsite on Flipkart with the specification reveal schedule. As per the microsite, the upcoming features will be announced on the following dates:
- Faster AI Computing: 27th August 2026
- Turbo Display: 28th August 2026
- Turbo Battery: 30th August 2026
- Turbo Camera: 31st August 2026
The upcoming reveals will provide more details regarding the Vivo T5 5G’s display, battery and camera specifications ahead of its official India launch on the 2nd of September 2026.
