Earlier, we had covered the news about Vivo teasing the launch of its next T-series smartphone in India, called the Vivo T5 5G. Now, the brand has officially confirmed the smartphone’s launch date for the Indian market.

Vivo T5 5G – India Launch Date
According to the latest announcement shared by Vivo India, the Vivo T5 5G will launch in the country on the 2nd of September 2026 at 12PM IST.
The smartphone’s microsite is already live on Flipkart, confirming that it will be available through the e-commerce platform. While, the official launch poster further mentions that the device will be sold via the Vivo India e-store and authorized retail stores across the country.
Speaking more, the latest teaser also offers a glimpse at the rear design of the Vivo T5 5G. The smartphone appears to feature a horizontal pill-shaped camera module which houses two camera sensors and an Aura Light. Its rear panel has been shown in what appears to be a brownish colour option.
Interestingly, the design teased today appears to be similar to that of the Vivo S2, which was recently introduced in the Indian market. However, it cannot yet be confirmed whether the upcoming Vivo T5 5G will arrive as a rebranded version of the Vivo S2 or feature different specifications.
With its India launch date now been officially announced, Vivo is likely to reveal more details about the smartphone through its official teasers and Flipkart microsite in the coming days.
