The Redmi Note 17 5G series has already made its debut in China and the global market. In China, the series included Redmi Note 17 5G and Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G models, while in global markets there was an additional Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G model. The Redmi Note 17 5G has also made its debut in India, and recently, the microsite for Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G was also made live on Amazon.
The brand has today officially announced that the Redmi Note 17 Pro Series will launch in India on 15th September.

This means that both the Redmi Note 17 Pro and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max will be arriving in the Indian market together. The microsite for the upcoming Pro series has already been made live on the Xiaomi India website and Amazon.
The microsite reveals that the series will boast a massive 10,000 mAh battery (just like the global variant of the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max model) and 4+ days of usage. The teaser video reveals devices similar to the global variants of the Redmi Note 17 Pro and Pro Max smartphones, while it is expected that the Indian and global variants will also be similar in terms of specs.
It was previously tipped that the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G could arrive in 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB memory configurations, which could be priced at INR 39,000 and INR 42,000 respectively.
