Poco F7 will launch on June 24th in India and Globally

POCO F7 is probably one of the most talked-about smartphones, and its launch has been widely discussed. An earlier leak from an Indonesian listing had suggested a June 25th launch, leading to speculation that the device would launch on that date. However, it has now been officially confirmed that the POCO F7 will launch both globally and in India on June 24th, 2025.

In India, the launch will take place at 5:30 PM IST, while the global launch is scheduled for 8:00 PM GMT+8. Most of the specifications have already been leaked or spotted through various certification listings. Additionally, in a recent post on X by POCO Global and POCO India, the official design of the device has been revealed, a design that, notably, had already leaked a few days earlier.

Poco F7  Expected specs

The POCO F7 is expected to arrive in three colour options — Classic Black, Classic White, and a limited edition Cyber Silver.

The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (4nm) chipset and run on Xiaomi HyperOS 2, which combines HyperCore, HyperConnect, and HyperAI features. With WildBoost Optimization 4.0 and an AnTuTu score of 2,084,535, the device promises a 30% performance boost. It is also expected to feature a large 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, making it the largest display in the POCO F-series. The screen will likely offer a 94.23% screen-to-body ratio, 3200 nits peak brightness, 3840Hz PWM dimming, DC dimming, and TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light and circadian friendliness. Support for 120FPS gaming, particularly in titles like Genshin Impact, is also expected.

In terms of design, the POCO F7 is expected to feature a premium build with a glass back and aluminium frame, IP68-certified water and dust resistance, and bend resistance up to 70kg. A neon design element is said to be included in the camera module for a futuristic look, while the Cyber Silver variant is expected to come with engraved mechanical accents that highlight the camera and processor specifications.

The camera setup is expected to include a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, along with a 20MP front camera. The battery capacity is expected to differ by region, with the Indian variant offering a 7550mAh battery, while the global version may feature a 6500mAh unit. Charging support is expected to include 90W wired and 22.5W reverse wired charging. The POCO F7 is also likely to come with LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a 12GB RAM variant.

The device has already been certified in multiple regions, including  UAE’s TDRA, Indonesia’s SDPPI, Thailand’s NBTC, Singapore’s IMDA, USA’s FCC, and the European EEC. Its Indian launch has been teased, with a dedicated landing page already live on Flipkart. A special edition model is also expected to be launched exclusively for the Indian market.
