POCO F7 Smartphone to Offer 12GB RAM for its Base Variant in India, Confirms POCO India CEO

POCO India CEO has now confirmed via the X platform that the Indian variant of the POCO F7 device will be offering its users 12GB of RAM for its base variant.

As mentioned, Himanshu Tandon – the POCO India CEO has now confirmed via his X handle that the upcoming POCO F7 smartphone in the Indian market will offer 12GB of RAM for its base variant. This update follows a poll conducted by him on X, where 80% of the voters opted 12GB over 8GB as the ideal starting variant for a powerful device that uses a flagship-level chip onboard.
Speaking more, the official launch date for the POCO F7 smartphone in India has not been announced yet, however it is expected to launch in the third or fourth week of this month in June 2025. The upcoming POCO F7 smartphone will be a true flagship killer and it will arrive as a re-branded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro device.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4 storage, 6.83″ 1.5K 120Hz flat OLED display, 50MP (OIS) + 8MP (ultra-wide) dual rear camera unit, 20MP selfie camera, 7550 mAh battery (6500 mAh for global variant), and 90W wired fast charge support are expected to be its key specs. Just recently, a live image of the POCO F7 device was also leaked online, revealing certain design aspects. In addition to this, the Indian market is said to get a special edition model of the POCO F7 smartphone too.
