POCO F7 global variant could arrive with a smaller battery capacity of 6500 mAh; Indian variant expected to arrive with 7550 mAh battery

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has recently introduced its all-new Redmi Turbo 4 Pro smartphone in the Chinese market. The device was backed by a massive 7550 mAh battery. Reportedly, POCO F7 will be launched as the rebranded version of Redmi Turbo 4 Pro.

Looking at the previous track record, Xiaomi has been making market-specific hardware optimizations in its devices. Xiaomi has employed battery capacity differences across regional variants in the last year, where the global variants arrived with smaller batteries while Chinese and Indian variants arrived with bigger batteries.

Xiaomitime has revealed in its recent report that the POCO F7 global variant will arrive with reduced battery capacity. The above image seems to reveal in-house code for POCO F7, where the global variant is listed with a 6500 mAh battery, the Indian variant is listed with a 7550 mAh battery, and presumably, the Chinese variant is also listed with a 7550 mAh battery. All the variants support 90W charging. Since there is no official confirmation related to the battery capacity, readers are advised to take the above information with a pinch of salt.

Since POCO F7 is expected to be the rebranded version of Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, we may see similarities in the specs of both devices.

Redmi Turbo 4 Pro: Specifications
