Google to Make its Pixel Smartphones Locally in India, Starting with the Pixel 8 Device

The California-based tech company, Google, has officially revealed its plan to start manufacturing its Pixel smartphones in India. This is expected to be a great step for the brand, enabling more to use and be able to afford the Pixel smartphones within the country.

Aligning with the country’s “Make in India” initiative, Google has taken the decision to locally manufacture its Pixel devices in India, with the help of international and domestic manufacturers. The newly launched Pixel 8 series smartphone, the Pixel 8, will be first made in this manner, and the Indian-made Pixel smartphones will start to be rolled out next year, in 2024.

The brand has also not forgotten to extend its gratitude towards F1 Info Solutions, Google’s India local partner, for serving its customers via the 28 service centers spread over 27 Indian cities. It has also been announced that the coverage for customer services will be expanded to more regions and cities by F1 Info Solutions.
