Yesterday, Tata Motors launched its 2026 Tiago EV in the Indian market, while an ICE version was also unveiled in the country.
2026 Tata Tiago ICE: Features
Exterior
The 2026 Tiago features a redesigned front with sharper headlamps, a slimmer, higher-set grille and a redesigned bumper with a much larger air dam. It is claimed to offer 170mm ground clearance. It sports 15-inch alloy wheel designs and black cladding on the wheel arches. There is a new connected tail lamp setup, a subtler roof spoiler and a cleaner design for the bumper.
Interior
On the inside, the instrument binnacle has been removed, the centre console and two-spoke steering wheel have been mildly updated, and the AMT variants get a new rotary gear selector. The model features a black and light grey colour scheme
It comes with a 10.25-icnh infotainment touchscreen, a digital driver’s display, a wireless charging pad, rear AC vents, a 4-speaker sound system, a cooled glove box, cruise control, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
Safety
There are various safety features that include 6 airbags, rain-sensing wipers, ESC, parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, ISOFIX child seat anchor points, blind-spot monitor and ABS with EBD. The car has a 4-star GNCAP safety rating.
Powertrain
It is equipped with a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine in 86hp petrol and 75.5hp CNG. Gearbox options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT for both versions.
