Earlier, a new Xiaomi tablet carrying the model number “2612CRPFFC” was spotted on the 3C certification database alongside another tablet with the model number “M367FC”. While the former is believed to belong to the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro, the latter is tipped to be the Xiaomi Pad 8s Pro. Well, now what appears to be the global variant of the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro has been spotted on the IMDA certification database.

Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Global Variant Likely Spotted on IMDA
On the IMDA regulatory authority, a Xiaomi tablet carrying the model number “2612CRPFFG” has now been listed under the LPREQ – Low Power Radio Equipment category. Its equipment type is mentioned as “Multiple Radio Interfaces”, while the device itself has been described as a “Tablet Computer”.
The listing further mentions Xiaomi as the brand/trade name, while Xiaomi Electronics Pte. Ltd. is listed as its supplier. However, the marketing name of the device has not been revealed through the certification.

Interestingly, this same “2612CRPFFG” model number was earlier spotted on the EEC certification database as well, though its exact moniker was not revealed there either.
In related news, its believed Chinese counterpart carrying the model number “2612CRPFFC” was previously spotted on the 3C certification database with support for 67W wired fast charging. Tipster Digital Chat Station had also revealed that Xiaomi is currently working on two tablets for its home market China, namely the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 8s Pro.
The model number spotted today on the global regulatory authority also shares a close similarity with the “2612CRPFFC” model spotted in China, with only the last letter changing from “C” to “G”. Here, “C” generally points towards the Chinese variant, whereas “G” is commonly used for the global variant.
This suggests that the newly spotted “2612CRPFFG” could be the global counterpart of the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro, though its marketing name is yet to be officially confirmed through the certification.
Digital Chat Station had further tipped that the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro (China) is expected to arrive with a Snapdragon 8-series chipset, though the exact processor name is still under wraps. As both model numbers share similarities, we can expect the global variant to share most of its core specifications with its Chinese counterpart, including support for 67W fast charging.
For comparison, the standard Xiaomi Pad 9 has separately been associated with the model number “M656BA” and is expected to support 45W charging, while the Xiaomi Pad 8s Pro carrying the model number “M367FC” has been spotted with support for up to 120W fast charging.
For now, Xiaomi has not officially revealed the marketing name or specifications of the “2612CRPFFG” model, though more details are expected to surface as the device receives more certifications in the coming days.
Stay tuned for more updates!
