Last year, Xiaomi introduced its Xiaomi Pad 8 series in the Chinese market, which included the Xiaomi Pad 8 and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro models. The brand is now rumoured to be working on the successor to this tablet series: the Xiaomi Pad 9 series.
Reportedly, the Xiaomi Pad 9 series could also arrive with a standard and Pro model. Last month it was tipped that the standard model arrives with model numbers M656BA, 26103RP65G and 26103RP65I, while it was revealed via the HyperOS code that the Xiaomi Pad 9 will pack a 9,720 mAh battery.
Now, just after a month, model number M656BA has made its appearance on China’s 3C certification website.

The database reveals that the device arrives with an MDY-17-EE power adaptor, which suggests 45W wired charging support. Other than this, no other detail is revealed related to the device, but since the device has made its appearance on the certification, it hints that the device could be nearing its launch.

It is tipped that the tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 8 series processor. This is said to be a standard large-screen tablet, while the Pro version is expected to have even stronger performance.
