Previously, we had spotted the upcoming vivo Y600i and Y600i AI Edition smartphones on the Google Play Console supported devices list. Later, the same model number made its appearance on China’s 3C certification database, revealing its fast-charging support. Now, the model number has once again been listed on the Google Play Console supported devices list, but this time with a different moniker – vivo Y500k.
Here’s more about the update.
vivo Y500k (V2617A) – Google Play Console Listing
As per the Google Play Console supported devices list, a vivo smartphone carrying the model number ‘V2617A’ has been listed with the marketing name ‘vivo Y500k’. The listing also mentions ‘PD2617’ as its product or device codename.

Speaking more, the vivo Y600i and Y600i AI Edition had earlier been spotted on the same supported devices list, and both were found to use the same ‘V2617A’ model number and ‘PD2617’ device codename. With both the model number and codename appearing to be the same, the details now further suggest that the newly discovered vivo Y500k could arrive as a rebranded version of the upcoming vivo Y600i or Y600i AI Edition smartphone.
Furthermore, the same ‘V2617A’ model number had also made its appearance on China’s 3C certification database, which revealed that the device is a 5G smartphone and supports up to 44W wired fast charging.
Regarding the launch, vivo has not yet shared any details about when these smartphones will break cover. However, with the upcoming vivo X500 flagship series scheduled to launch in China on September 21st, 2026, the brand could possibly introduce these Y-series devices afterwards.
Stay tuned for more updates!
