The Vivo Y300 series is likely next in line for launch. Earlier, we saw Vivo launching the Y300 Pro 5G in its home country, China. While there might be plans for the Y300 Pro to launch globally, we recently spotted the Y300 5G on Bluetooth SIG certification, which revealed its model number to be “V2416”.
This news might be particularly interesting to Vivo India fans, as Vivo Y300 5G will also be coming to the Indian market. This is evident because it has been spotted on the Indian BIS certification.
If you look at the screen grab above, it shows the same model number “2416”, which was granted BIS certification on 20th September 2024. Sadly, BIS doesn’t reveal anything regarding the hardware or the software package this smartphone will come with. However, being the successor to the Y200 series, we hope Vivo will make some good improvements with this one, as we have seen with the Y300 Pro which was recently released in China. On a side note Vivo is also working on a new Vivo y200 5G model, that was recently spotted on the multiple certifications.
