Tecno Pova 8 India and UAE Launch Hinted as Device Appears on BIS and TDRA Certification Databases

Previously, this handset had already been spotted on many certification databases, revealing several of its key specs. Now, the same device has also appeared on India’s BIS and UAE’s TDRA certification databases, hinting at its launch in the respective regions as well.

Tecno Pova 8 – Indian BIS and UAE’s TDRA Certifications

The upcoming Tecno Pova 8 smartphone has been listed on the Bureau of Indian Standards certification database with the model number “LK6” and the R number “R-93044725”. The listing shows the date of grant/inclusion as the 21st of April 2026, and it also reveals the manufacturing address as “Plot No. D-199, Sector-63, Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, 201301”, hinting at its Indian manufacturing as well.

On the UAE’s TDRA certification database, both the moniker “Tecno Pova 8” and the model number “LK6” have been listed, and the device has been categorised as a “Mobile Phone”. Furthermore, the certification reveals that this handset received approval from the regulatory authority on the 25th of May 2026, with the equipment registration number “ER59910/26”.

While these two certifications do not reveal any specifications as such, the device had previously appeared on multiple certification platforms, through which many of its key specs were revealed.

Via the Geekbench database, it was revealed that the Tecno Pova 8 5G will be powered by the Dimensity 100 processor, and it is said to be coupled with the Android 16 operating system and 6GB RAM as one of its RAM variants. Furthermore, the FCC database had revealed an 8000mAh battery with 7750mAh rated capacity, along with 45W wired fast charging support. The FCC listing had also pointed to the Android 16 operating system with the software version of LK6-16.2.0.

Speaking more, GSM, WCDMA, 3G, 4G, and 5G connectivity were also revealed via the FCC database. Bluetooth, NFC, WiFi 5G, and GPS L1 were also among the listed connectivity specs, while the FCC label also revealed an 8GB/256GB memory variant.

In addition to this, the Carlcare services website for India had also listed three memory variants that could be launched in India. These include 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB storage options.

With all these specs and details now being revealed, we can expect the brand to make a launch announcement soon.
