Late last month, it was revealed that Tecno will also be unveiling an Ultra model smartphone too under its Pova 7 series and now, the key specs and launch time frame of this upcoming device have been tipped. As per what has been revealed, the Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G will possibly be a great gaming phone and is likely to break its cover this month.

Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G – Tipped Key Specs and Launch Time Frame
This update comes from an X tipster (@passionategeekz) and as per what has been shared, Tecno’s Pova 7 Ultra 5G smartphone is tipped to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset and feature an AMOLED display screen supporting 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. It is also said to support 120 FPS gaming on the PUBG mobile game. Moreover, a 6000 mAh large battery may be packed within it, possibly supporting a 70W wired fast charging feature.
About its launch time frame, the upcoming device will likely launch this month itself in June 2025, and it will be offered in Black and White color choices. In terms of its design, it seems to have a boxy design with mechanical design elements at the rear, along with a triangular-like camera module housing three camera sensors, an LED light strip, and an arc interface. From what it seems, just like last time, most of the Pova 7 series smartphone models could likely retain a similar design language.
Speaking more, the existence of an Ultra model under the Pova 7 series was confirmed via its listing on the Google Play Console database, however it carries the same model number (LJ9) as that of the Pova 7 Pro+ 5G device. A few of its other revealed key specs are the Android 15 operating system and the 8GB RAM option. It will also be integrated with the ARM Mali G615 GPU as well.
To add, apart from the Pova 7 Ultra 5G (LJ9) and Pova 7 Pro+ 5G (LJ9) smartphones, the Pova 7 series will consist of the Pova 7 4G (LJ6), Pova 7 Neo 4G (LJ6), Pova 7 5G (LJ7), and Pova 7 Pro 5G (LJ8) smartphone models too, and all these devices are also expected to have their launch soon.
