Tecno’s Pova 7 5G Receives the FCC Certification; Pova 7 5G and Pova 7 Pro 5G Also Certified by the BIS Authority
In the past few weeks, we have been coming across multiple updates concerning Tecno’s next Pova 7 series smartphone models and now, the Pova 7 5G has made it to the FCC certification platform. Moreover, the Pova 7 5G and Pova 7 Pro 5G have also been spotted on the BIS certification database as well.

Tecno Pova 7 5G – FCC Certification
The Tecno Pova 7 5G smartphone carrying the model number – ‘LJ7’ has received the FCC certification with the FCC ID – ‘2ADYY-LJ7’, and it has been categorized as a ‘mobile phone’ on the certification database. Notably, a few of its specifications and its schematic renders have also been revealed via its FCC listing.
Tecno’s Pova 7 5G is revealed to support 2G/3G/4G/5G network connectivity, along with WiFi 6 supporting dual band connectivity (2.4G and 5G). It will also be supporting GPS, and will pack a 6000 mAh Li-ion polymer battery (5850 mAh rated capacity, model number – ‘BL-58IT’) within it. Up to 45W wired fast charging support can also be expected on the device (listed charging adapter model number – ‘U450TSB’). Its software (LJ7-15.1.0) and hardware (V1.2) version numbers have also been mentioned on the database, and the device will be offering an 8GB/256GB storage variant.
About its design, the device is suggested to measure 165 mm in length and 175 mm diagonally. It seemingly has a flat rear panel and just like its predecessor, mechanical design elements can also be expected on the device. A triangular-like camera module has been given this time, and it is pointed out to house three camera sensors, LED flashlight, and an LED light strip (~ arc interface). To note, this camera module is similar to that of the previously-teased camera module design (~ then said to be for the Pova 7 Pro+ model). Also, the volume rockers and power button are positioned at the right side panel.
Tecno Pova 7 5G and Tecno Pova 7 Pro 5G – BIS Certification
Coming to the BIS listing, as mentioned both the Pova 7 5G (LJ7) and Pova 7 Pro 5G (LJ8) devices have been listed on the database, as of on the 20th of May 2025 and 5th of May 2025 respectively. While the listing does not point out any specs or features of the two smartphones, it confirms their launch in the Indian market.
Looking at previous updates, the Pova 7 series of Tecno is expected to consist of the Pova 7 4G, Pova 7 Neo, Pova 7 5G, Pova 7 Pro 5G, Pova 7 Pro+ 5G, and Pova 7 Ultra 5G. Both the Pova 7 5G and Pova 7 Pro 5G models have appeared on the Google Play Console database, as well as on Geekbench. They have also received the European EEC certification too.
All these certifications and listings suggest that the Pova 7 series launch is around the corner, and probably the brand may be announcing the launch date soon. Just to add, the Indian market just recently saw the debut of the Pova Curve 5G model.
