Samsung tipped to hold its next Galaxy Unpacked event on 25th February, 2026 in San Francisco

The rumor mill has been flowing with updates on the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. Earlier, it was reported that the series could launch in January/February 2026, but new reports indicated that the launch could take place in March 2026. It was said that this delay might be due to Samsung’s decision to drop Edge and Pro models from the upcoming series and launch the original basic, plus, and ultra models.

According to a recent report by MoneyToday, it is revealed that Samsung will be unveiling its flagship Galaxy S26 series in San Francisco on 25th February, 2026.  An official familiar with Samsung Electronics said, “Since San Francisco has emerged as a center of AI technology, it is the optimal location for Samsung, which has ushered in the AI smartphone era, to hold its event.”

Reportedly, the upcoming Galaxy S26 series will be powered by the all-new Exynos 2600 SoC in most regions, while certain markets will get Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (for Galaxy)-powered smartphone models too for the Galaxy S26 series.

Previously, an Exynos S6568 chipset was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website. It is assumed that this chipset will be paired with the Exynos 2600 SoC for the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. The Exynos 2600 SoC was also spotted on the Geekbench database for the third time with a single-core score of 3455 and a multi-core score of 11621.
