Samsung Galaxy Z Tri-Fold Models Certified by the Bluetooth SIG Authority; Models Reveal Details Concerning its Market Availability

Late last month at the APEC CEO Summit held in South Korea, Samsung had officially showcased its tri-fold flagship, and the device was pointed out to have its launch sometime this year in 2025. Now, about a week later, the regional models of the Galaxy Z Tri-Fold have received the certification from the Bluetooth SIG authority, revealing the details concerning its market availability.
Here’s more about the update.
Samsung Galaxy Z Tri-Fold Models – Bluetooth SIG Certification
On the Bluetooth SIG certification database, the Galaxy Z Tri-Fold models carrying the model numbers of ‘SM-D639N’, ‘SM-D6390’, ‘SM-D639U’, ‘SM-D639U1’, ‘SM-D639B’, and ‘SM-D639B/DS’ (DS – dual SIM slots) have been listed and certified, and the code name ‘Q7M’ has been used under the product name section. As mentioned, the Bluetooth SIG-listed models are the regional models of the Galaxy Z Tri-Fold device, and it corresponds to the South Korean model, Chinese model, United States – carrier locked and unlocked versions, and the international model.
While there is an international model certified, this does not mean that the brand plans to announce its tri-fold flagship for all global consumers. As per what reports claim, apart from the South Korean, Chinese, and US markets, it is believed that the device will only arrive in the UAE, and maybe in Taiwan and Singapore as per what recent rumors suggest. Even if this is the case, it is being said that a global launch before 2026 is probably not going to happen (via SamMobile).

About the expected specs, 6.5″ to up to 10″ screen size (9.96″ as earlier revealed), 25W wired charging support (via 3C), NFC, 298gm weight, and a Black color choice are revealed for the device. In terms of pricing, it is likely going to be released at a price point ranging somewhere around KRW 3 million.
Stay tuned for more updates.
