Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Tablet 5G Variant Battery Spotted on the BIS Certification Database of India

Just recently, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 tablet 5G variant was spotted on the Geekbench database and following this, the battery of this device has been spotted on the BIS certification database. Via this listing, the Galaxy Tab S11 tablet from Samsung is suggested to also make its way to the Indian market as well.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 5G Battery – BIS Certification

As per an earlier report, the battery with model number – ‘EB-BX736ABY’ was said to be used within the next Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 5G tablet and it has now received the BIS certification from India. Another battery with a similar model number of ‘EB-BX736ABE’ has also been listed along with it. The two batteries have received the grant/inclusion onto the database as of on the 6th of May 2025, and the device was previously reported to have an 8160 mAh rated battery capacity (likely 8400 mAh typical battery). Also to add, the listing on the BIS database points to a possible India launch for the Galaxy Tab S11 tablet too.

Coming to its Geekbench listing, even though it was revealed to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ flagship chipset (clocked at 3.73GHz), the Geekbench scores are unexpectedly low with 1420 points single-core score and 5312 points multi-core score. Other revealed key specs of the Galaxy Tab S11 5G via Geekbench are the integrated ARM Mali-G925 Immortalis MC12 GPU, Android 16 OS, and 12GB RAM. Also, unlike last year, Samsung this time could be planning to launch the standard (SM-X730 – WiFi only, SM-X736B – WiFi+5) and ultra (SM-X936B) models under the Galaxy Tab S11 series – replacing the plus device.

Since reports have started to arrive about the next Galaxy Tab S11 series devices, more updates can be expected in the coming days. The previous Galaxy Tab S10 series was launched in September 2024 and as there are still a few more months left for it to become one year, it is likely that the launch time frame for the Galaxy Tab S11 series could be a little more far.
