Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S10 Series in September last year in the Indian market, which included both Ultra and Plus variants. Now, it seems that its successor, the Galaxy Tab S11 Series, may be launching soon, at least in the global market. However, this time, there may not be a Plus variant. Instead, Samsung is expected to introduce a Vanilla variant alongside the Ultra variant.

Alleged Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 5G spotted on Geekbench

The Galaxy Tab S11 5G, bearing the model number SM-X736B, has been spotted on the Geekbench database. It achieved a single-core score of 1420 and a multi-core score of 5320. The listing further shows a CPU configuration with four cores clocked at 2.4 GHz, three cores at 3.3 GHz, and one core at 3.73 GHz. According to the source code, the device features a Mali-G925 Immortalis MC12 GPU, which corresponds to the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset.

To be honest, these are likely among the lowest scores recorded for this chipset. The recently launched iQOO Pad 5 Pro, which also features the Dimensity 9400+, managed a single-core score of 2796 and a multi-core score of 8503 in a recent Geekbench listing. To me, it appears that the performance could have been capped.

Apart from this, the listing reveals the tablet will run Android 16 out of the box, though the specific version of One UI 8 remains unknown. The tested prototype on Geekbench shows 16GB RAM. While tipster Abhishek Yadav claims this model number belongs to the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, an earlier IMEI database listing suggests that SM-X736B is for the vanilla Galaxy Tab S11 5G, with the Ultra variant likely carrying the model number SM-X936B.

Also, as per reports, the Galaxy Tab S11 (SM-X730 – Wi-Fi variant/SM-X736B – 5G Variant)may feature a battery capacity of 8160mAh with model number “EB-BX736ABY”, which could be marketed as 8400mAh. Meanwhile, the Ultra variant, associated with the battery model number “EB-BX936ABY”, is expected to have a 11,374mAh battery and may be marketed as 11,700mAh.
