Samsung Galaxy A56 5G Smartphone Certified by Malaysia’s SIRIM Authority

Following its recent TUV Rheinland certification listing, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A56 5G model has made it to the Malaysian SIRIM certification database ahead of its expected launch time frame.

Galaxy A56 5G – SIRIM Certification
The Samsung Galaxy A56 5G smartphone which carries the model number – ‘SM-A566B/DS’ has appeared on the SIRIM certification database of Malaysia, and it has received the certification with the type approval code of ‘RGQL/33I/0125/S(25-0321)’. The device has been categorized as a mobile phone, and its moniker is mentioned on the database. To note, its certification will be valid till the 23rd of January 2026.
Speaking more, as pointed out above, the Galaxy A56 5G recently was spotted on the TUV Rheinland database, and before which, it was also listed on MIIT, TENAA, 3C, EMVCo, BIS, and Geekbench databases. Furthermore, its support page in France is also currently active. About its launch, it is expected to take place in the mid-half of March 2025.
Regarding its expected/revealed key specs, based on reports, Samsung’s Galaxy A56 5G is believed to arrive equipped with the brand’s own Exynos 1580 chip with a primary clock speed of 2.91 GHz. It is also likely going to be integrated with the Xclipse 540 GPU, is probably going to run on Android 15 based One UI 7, and may come in an 8GB RAM option. A triple rear camera system is suggested to be featured via the render images shared, and it is said to sport a 12MP front-facing camera. A 4905 mAh rated battery is also part of the device, supporting 45W wired fast charging. Apart from these, NFC connectivity is also among the revealed key specs.
