Samsung Galaxy A27 5G Makes Its Way to Malaysia’s SIRIM Certification, Fourth Colour Option Also Tipped
The expected launch time frame of Samsung’s Galaxy A27 5G smartphone is getting near, and again reiterating it, the upcoming device has now made its way to the Malaysian SIRIM certification database. Along with this, a fourth colour option of the smartphone has also been shared online, while its earlier leaked renders had already revealed three other colour choices.

On the Malaysian SIRIM certification database, the Samsung Galaxy A27 5G smartphone carrying the model number of ‘SM-A276B/DS’ has been listed, and the listing confirms both its moniker and model number. The device received its approval on the 26th of May 2026 with the Type Approval Code of ‘RGQL/98K/0526/S(26-2828)’. To note, the ‘DS’ at the end of the model number confirms dual SIM support for the device, but as usual, the certification listing does not reveal any of its key specs. However, it does point out that the smartphone may soon be having its launch in the Malaysian market.
Speaking more, regarding its colour options, OnLeaks in collaboration with MyMobiles had previously revealed three colour choices of the upcoming device, which include Light Pink, Blue, and Black. Now, as per the new information that has been shared online, the Galaxy A27 5G is also said to arrive in a fourth Awesome Mint colour option.
As mentioned, this upcoming Samsung handset has already been spotted on several key regulatory databases in the past few months, including the recently discovered IMDA, TÜV, and IMEI listings. The IMDA listing had revealed a few network-related details, pointing out that the device will be supporting NFC, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity. Just like its predecessor, 25W fast charging support was also confirmed via the TÜV certification, while the IMEI database had pointed to the same Galaxy A27 5G moniker, which has now again been confirmed via SIRIM.
Furthermore, a prototype of the upcoming Galaxy A27 5G smartphone was also spotted on the Geekbench database, and key specs which include the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, Android 16 operating system, and 6GB RAM option were revealed for the device. Since the expected launch time frame of the smartphone is likely getting near, we might be coming across more updates soon, which could be revealing details concerning its other specs and features.
