Samsung Galaxy A27 5G Spotted Again on Geekbench, Also Appears on TÜV Rheinland Certification Revealing 25W Fast Charging Support

Just last month, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A27 5G was spotted on the Geekbench database with a single-core score of 777 and a multi-core score of 1802. Well, a new Geekbench listing of this same device has now appeared and shows an improvement in its overall score. Along with this, it has also appeared on the TÜV Rheinland certification, revealing its charging specifications.

Speaking about this new Geekbench listing, the model number “SM-A276B” is seen with a single-core score of 994 and a multi-core score of 2861, which means an increase of around 28% in single-core score, while approximately a 59% increase in multi-core score. Another major difference is that the earlier score was based on Geekbench 6.6.0, and this new one is based on Geekbench 6.7.1.

Additionally, the earlier Geekbench listing had a 6GB RAM variant, while this one has an 8GB RAM variant. Also, previously, the exact SoC was not mentioned, but in this latest listing, it does mention the codename of the chipset as QTI SM6475, which is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC running four cores at 2.40GHz and the remaining four cores at 1.80GHz. Adding more to this, just like the previous one, it also mentions that the device was running the Android 16 operating system.

Outside of Geekbench, the device has surfaced on the TÜV Rheinland certification database under multiple regional model numbers: SM-A276B/DS (Dual SIM), SM-A276B (India/Global), SM-A2760 (China), SM-A276U (USA carrier-locked), and SM-A276U1 (USA unlocked). This certification confirms that the Galaxy A27 5G will support 25W (9V × 2.77A) fast wired charging, the same as its predecessor, the Galaxy A26 5G.

Previously, this same model number had also appeared in the IMEI database, confirming the moniker Galaxy A27 5G. Furthermore, a recent listing on Samsung’s Brazilian website had also revealed the same model number, confirming that it supports Samsung Wallet.

For its launch, Samsung has not yet confirmed its existence, but we may hear an announcement in the coming days.
