Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is said to be currently working on Redmi Turbo 4 smartphone. Recently this upcoming device was spotted on the 3C certification website with model number 24129RT7CC.
Redmi Turbo 4 was expected to make its debut this month but till now the brand has not made any official announcement regarding the same. Ahead of its rumored launch, a major update regarding the device has surfaced online. A user on Weibo asked that does Turbo 4 would have an ultrasonic sensor to which tipster Digital Chat Station replied No.
This means Redmi Turbo 4 will not include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Previous reports revealed that Redmi Turbo 4 might be featuring a 1.5K resolution display. It may come with 90W fast wired charging support. It will come with a more powerful processor (probably Dimensity 8400 SoC) compared to the previous-generation Redmi Turbo 3. Regarding the battery specifications, we can expect a capacity between 6000 mAh to 7000 mAh. Instead of a plastic frame, the device may feature a glass back.
A recent report suggested that Redmi Turbo 4 will be launched soon in China as Redmi’s General Manager Wan Ten recently hinted on a short video platform. The official announcement is expected to be made soon. Previously Redmi Turbo 3 was launched as POCO F6 in the global market, hence it is expected that Redmi Turbo 4 might be rebranded as POCO F7 for global consumers.
