A new Xiaomi-branded smartphone’s model number has now cleared Singapore’s IMDA certification, rumoured to belong to the Xiaomi 18 Pro Series global variant. Along with this, a Redmi-branded tablet has also appeared on it.

Xiaomi and Redmi Devices on IMDA
The Xiaomi smartphone has been listed with the model number 2609BPN61G and is categorised as a mobile terminal. The listing describes it as a 5G mobile phone with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity.
We had earlier spotted the model number 2611FPNFAG on the IMDA database, and it was reported to belong to the Xiaomi 18 Pro at the time. However, the tipster has now identified 2611FPNFAG as the global Xiaomi 18 Pro Max instead.
Also CN 7000 mAh, not 8000 mAh.

Furthermore, the tipster claims that the global variant of the Xiaomi 18 Pro series may feature a smaller battery compared to their chinese counterpart. According to him, the global Xiaomi 18 Pro is tipped to feature a 6,000mAh battery, compared with the 7,000mAh battery in the Chinese variant. Meanwhile, the global Xiaomi 18 Pro Max could pack a 7,050mAh battery, compared with the 8,500mAh battery in its Chinese counterpart.

Moving on to the Redmi device, it carries the model number 26104RPF2G and is categorised as a mobile terminal, with the description identifying it as a tablet computer.
This upcoming Redmi tablet had also appeared on the EEC database, but its marketing name was not revealed there either. Its moniker remains unknown, and we will have to wait for more details regarding the device.
