The POCO X8 series India launch has already been confirmed, and the brand has also teased some of the key specifications concerning both smartphones in the lineup. Now, the performance details of the global variant of the vanilla POCO X8 5G have been revealed via the Geekbench 7 database.

POCO X8 5G – Geekbench 7 Listing
On the Geekbench database, the device has been listed with the global model number ‘Xiaomi 2607DPC18G’. While the commercial moniker is not mentioned in the listing, we had earlier spotted the same model number on the UAE’s TDRA certification database, which confirmed that it belongs to the POCO X8 5G.
As per the benchmark listing, the upcoming smartphone achieved a single-core score of 849 points and a multi-core score of 2,841 points on Geekbench 7.0.0 for Android AArch64.

Coming to its processor details, the POCO X8 5G is listed with the Qualcomm SM8435 chipset and an octa-core CPU. The processor consists of four cores clocked at 1.80GHz and four cores operating at 2.40GHz, while the listed base frequency is 1.80GHz, pointing towards the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 SoC. The same chipset is also used in the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G in China, further strengthening the possibility that the POCO X8 5G could arrive as a rebranded version of it.
The motherboard has been mentioned as ‘parrot’, whereas the listed CPU governor is ‘walt’. Moreover, the device was tested with 11.13GB of memory, suggesting that it could feature a 12GB RAM variant.
On the software side, the POCO X8 5G is revealed to run on the Android 16 operating system.
Apart from the above-mentioned details, there isn’t anything more revealed through the Geekbench listing. However, since the India launch of the POCO X8 series has already been confirmed for September 4th 2026, more updates concerning the smartphones can be expected in the coming days.
