We had already covered the news about the POCO X8 Power 5G launching in India on September 4th, 2026. Well, the brand has now also confirmed that the vanilla POCO X8 5G will break its cover on the same day. The dedicated microsites of both smartphones are currently live on Flipkart, revealing their battery specifications and charging features. Additionally, the colour options and rear designs of the devices have also been teased.

POCO X8 5G – Battery, Charging, and Other Features
Starting with the POCO X8 5G, the upcoming smartphone is confirmed to pack a large 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which is claimed to offer around 3.2 days of battery life.
Poco also claims that with 67W fast charging support, the device’s battery can be charged from 1% to 50% in approximately 35 minutes. Moreover, around 22 minutes of charging is said to offer enough power for one day of usage. The smartphone will also support 22.5W wired reverse charging along with bypass charging.
POCO has further revealed that the device will use intelligent charging patterns to extend the battery’s lifespan. Even after 1,600 charging cycles the device can retain 80% of its original capacity, and the battery is claimed to offer 6 years of lifecycle.
Apart from these, the POCO X8 5G will come with TÜV Rheinland Triple Eye certifications, including Hardware-Level Low Blue Light, Circadian Friendly, and Flicker Free certifications. It will also feature dual stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio certification and up to 300% volume boost.
Coming to its design, the smartphone is teased to feature a flat rear panel with two cameras and an LED flash, along with a flat-sided frame. It has been shown in White/Silver and Orange colour options, where the latter features a textured rear finish, and the White/Silver variant has visible decorative screw-like elements and a small contrasting accent strip.
POCO X8 Power 5G – More Battery and Charging Details Revealed
Coming to the POCO X8 Power 5G, the brand had previously confirmed that the smartphone would be backed by a massive 10,000mAh battery. Now, a few additional details concerning its battery, charging capabilities, and other features have also been published on the Flipkart microsite.
The 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery is claimed to offer up to approximately 3.5 days of usage and up to 29 days of standby time.
This will support 100W fast charging, which is more than the vanilla POCO X8 5G and is claimed to charge the battery from 1% to 50% in approximately 30 minutes. Moreover, around 15 minutes of charging is said to provide enough power for one day of usage. It will also offer 27W wired reverse charging and support PPS charging with adapters from other brands at up to 50W.
Similar to the vanilla model, the POCO X8 Power 5G will use intelligent charging patterns to extend the battery’s lifespan and support bypass charging to reduce heat while gaming. Its battery is claimed to last for more than six years and retain 80% of its capacity after 1,600 charging cycles.

For photography, the POCO X8 Power 5G will sport a 50MP AI rear camera as part of a dual-camera setup, accompanied by an LED flash. The device is teased with a flat frame, a textured Yellow rear panel, and a display featuring a centrally aligned punch-hole camera.
