Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO recently teased that it will be launching two new X series devices in India. Online reports suggested that the upcoming devices will be POCO X8 5G and POCO X8 Power 5G.
Just a few hours ago, we shared with you that the microsite for a new POCO X series device was made live on Flipkart, and while the company did not reveal the moniker of the device, the URL of the page mentioned: “POCO X8 coming soon.”
Now, POCO has officially announced the launch date of the POCO X8 Power 5G smartphone.

The device will be launching in India on 4th September at 12 PM and will be made available via Flipkart. It is confirmed to arrive with a massive 10,000 mAh battery and offers 3.5 days of battery life.
The teaser video reveals the device in a yellow colour option with a black rear camera module that houses camera sensors and an LED flash. The design looks similar to what was previously revealed via the Flipkart microsite.
Recently, it was tipped that POCO will launch the POCO X8 and POCO X8 Power 5G smartphones in India in the first week of September. The company has already confirmed the launch date for the POCO X8 Power 5G, while it is expected to soon announce the launch of POCO X8 5G as well.
