OPPO Reno 16 Pro (CPH2863) Appears on BIS and TKDN Certifications, Hinting at Launch in India and Indonesia
We last covered the news about the OPPO Reno 16 Pro and OPPO Reno 16 F 5G being spotted on multiple certification listings. Now, adding one more to the list, the Reno 16 Pro has been spotted on the Indian BIS and Indonesian TKDN certifications, thus confirming its launch in these markets.

OPPO Reno 16 Pro – Indian BIS and TKDN Certification
As per the Indian BIS certification, the model number “CPH2863” has been given the date of grant/inclusion on March 19th 2026, sharing the same R number (R-93005800) previously linked to the Indian variant of the Reno 16 F 5G.
Apart from the BIS, the same model number has also appeared on the Indonesian TKDN certification as well, and it shows the cellular connectivity options of GSM 900/1800, WCDMA 900/2100, FDD LTE bands 1, 3, 5, and 8, TDD LTE band 40, and 5G SA/NSA FR1 bands N1, N3, N5, N8, and N40.
While the BIS and the TKDN listings do not list the moniker against the model number, prior to this, the same model number appeared on the UAE’s TDRA certification, which explicitly confirmed the Reno 16 Pro branding. Other than the TDRA, this device has also been spotted on the EEC, NBD Import & Export Database, and TÜV listings as well. From these listings, specifications such as a 12GB/512GB memory variant and 80W (11V × 7.3A) fast wired charging support were also revealed.
Looking into the past, the Reno 15 Pro’s global and Indian variants at that time were different, but it now appears that the global and Indian variants of the Reno 16 Pro will likely come with the same specs sheet.
Speaking more, while the global launch of the Reno 16 series is yet to be announced, OPPO has already started pre-reservations of the series in its home market, China, and as per the details shared, it is understood that the China launch could take place within the month of May itself, while the global launch is expected to follow later.
