Nothing Phone (4b) Appears on Geekbench Ahead of July 7 India Launch; Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC and 8GB RAM Revealed

Back in May, a new Nothing smartphone carrying the model number – ‘A009P’ had appeared on the Indian BIS certification database. At that time, not much regarding the device was revealed, apart from the fact that Nothing usually keeps its model numbers with Pokémon references, and this particular model number matched with Blastoise, which has the Pokédex number of 0009.

Later on, the brand also teased the launch with the same Blastoise Pokémon, but did not reveal the name of the device in the beginning. However, it was then confirmed to be the newest series in Nothing’s smartphone lineup, and will be launching as the Nothing Phone (4b) in India on the 7th of July via Flipkart.

Check out more about it below.

Speaking more, the smartphone is also revealed to run on the Android 16 operating system and will be paired with 8GB of RAM. Previously, a tipster had mentioned that the device will be offered in two memory variants, and with this Geekbench listing, one of its RAM variants has now been confirmed.

Looking at the details mentioned on the Geekbench database, it is being pointed out that the upcoming Nothing Phone (4b) will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC. In terms of performance, the device has managed to score 1088 points in the single-core test and 3155 points in the multi-core test.

However, it should be noted that Nothing has not officially confirmed these processor details yet, and currently, the Flipkart microsite only reveals the launch date of the device.

Stay tuned for more updates.
