Nothing Phone (3a) “A059” spotted on UAE’s TDRA certification ahead of March 2025 launch

Nothing has officially announced that the Nothing Phone (3a) series will launch globally, including in India, on 4th March 2025. According to earlier leaks, the series will include a vanilla variant and a Pro variant. Now, the vanilla variant has been spotted on the UAE’s TDRA certification, further confirming its imminent launch.

The certification lists the model number “A059,” previously rumoured to be associated with the Nothing Phone (3a). This confirms that the model number belongs to the vanilla variant of the series. However, the listing does not reveal any additional details about the device.

In addition to this, earlier today, a new Nothing earphone with the model number “B170” appeared on the SGS Fimko certification. This suggests an upcoming Nothing-branded earphone, though it remains unclear whether it will be launched under the Nothing brand itself or its sub-brand CMF. To clarify, Nothing has not officially announced or revealed any details about this earphone yet.

Meanwhile, several details about the Nothing Phone (3a) have surfaced, giving us a clearer idea of what to expect.

It is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SOC and a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. A triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, 50MP telephoto lens with 2x zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide lens, along with a 32MP front camera for selfies is also expected. You may see a 5000mAh battery supporting 45W wired fast charging and run on Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.1. It will include NFC for connectivity.

Based on earlier reports, the vanilla variant will be available in two configurations – 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, offered in Black and White colors. While the Pro variant will come exclusively in 12GB RAM with 256GB storage configuration, available in Black and Grey color options.
