Motorola’s Razr 2025 Spotted on the Wireless Power Consortium Database Ahead of its Launch

The upcoming and soon-to-be-launched Motorola Razr 2025 has now made its appearance on the Wireless Power Consortium certification database. Via the listing, its design renders and the wireless charging spec have been revealed as well.

Motorola Razr 2025 – WPC Certification

The Motorola Razr 2025 vertically-folding or clamshell smartphone carrying the model number of ‘XT2553’ has received the WPC certification, and it has been certified with the QI ID of ‘23634’. Notably, it will support Qi wireless charging (version 1.3.3) and will be offering 15W wireless fast charging capability.

Previously the Motorola Razr 60 smartphone (model number – ‘XT2553-2’) was certified by the MIIT and 3C authorities of China, and this device will also be re-branded as Motorola Razr 2025 for certain global markets. The MIIT listing had also revealed its design language and the Cyan color choice, whereas the 3C listing confirmed the 33W wired fast charging feature. The WPC-listed renders align with the previously shared design images, and also reveals a Blue color choice too. Apart from these, a 6.9″ inner foldable display and 3.6″ square-shaped cover display are its other expected specs.

Motorola will be conducting a new product launch conference today on the 24th of April 2025 in the global market, and the brand’s Razr 60 Ultra and Edge 60 Pro smartphones are expected to be unveiled. The standard Razr 60 launch may also be taking place today. In related news, the Lenovo Moto – Razr 60 series and Edge 60 series smartphones launch have also been announced next month (May 2025) in the Chinese market.
