[Update – India Launch Officially Confirmed for May 19th] Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power Launching in India with Dimensity 6400 SoC Instead of Dimensity 6300
Update on May 14th 2026: Right after we had reported that the devices were coming to the Indian market, Motorola has now officially confirmed that both the Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power smartphones will launch in India on May 19th 2026, via Flipkart. Additionally, the earlier rumour shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav regarding the Indian variants featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset has also now been officially confirmed. The teaser poster shared by Motorola India through its X account further reveals that the Moto G37 Power smartphone will come equipped with a massive 7000 mAh battery, similar to the global variant as well.

Motorola had recently launched the Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power smartphones in the global markets, and now a new tip has pointed towards their India launch timeline, which is said to take place later this month itself.

Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power – India Launch Tipped
As per the details shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav on his X account, the above-mentioned devices are expected to make their debut in the Indian market within May 2026 itself.
Both the Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power smartphones have already been introduced globally, and because of this, their specifications are already known as well. However, according to the tipster, the Indian variants of both smartphones are expected to arrive powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset instead of the Dimensity 6300 processor that is featured on the global variants.
Another detail shared by the tipster in his post is that Motorola could also launch the Moto Buds Bass alongside the smartphones. However, this particular information seems a bit unclear as the Moto Buds Bass earbuds have already been launched in the Indian market previously.
While the tipster did not reveal any additional specifications concerning the Indian models, the remaining hardware specifications are expected to stay mostly similar to the globally-launched versions. Also to add, if this latest information turns out to be accurate, dedicated microsites for the upcoming devices could soon go live, which may officially reveal the complete specifications meant for the Indian market.
