Joke’s on us as tipster confirms there is no Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra coming this summer

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6

Samsung really played well, I guess. Not just us, but several other publications reported that there might be a Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra variant, due to how the teaser came out showing the word “Ultra.” Well, this has been debunked by a reliable tipster called Max Jambor, who kind of confirmed via his X post that there won’t be an Ultra variant coming this time around, at least not along with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7.

Here is what he wrote in his X post:
“Funny that some think Samsung’s teaser hints at a ‘Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra’. That was clearly meant to stir hype — but there’s no Ultra model, at least not this summer. The Z Fold7 itself will bring the ‘Ultra’ experience.”

As per him, Samsung is basically confirming that the Z Fold 7 itself will bring an ultra experience overall. This is evident, as earlier today the Indian/global variant was spotted on the Geekbench database and managed to get a single-core score of 2896 and a multi-core score of 9226.

But the way he has framed his post makes me wonder whether there will be an Ultra variant of the Z Fold 7 or not. But that is for the future, and if it does happen, we may get some leak or certification to support it. So far, in this upcoming event, Samsung is expected to bring the Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and Z Flip 7 FE. However, the chances of the Z Flip 7 FE launching alongside the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 seem grim. Likely, as the first teaser is out, we may know more about it soon.
