iQOO 14 Pro could feature Samsung OLED panel and periscope telephoto camera

Last year the smartphone brand iQOO unveiled its flagship iQOO 13 smartphone in China as well as India but there was no Pro model introduced.  Now reports of the iQOO 14 series have started making their way online and it is believed that this time iQOO could introduce a vanilla as well as a Pro model in the series.

As per a recent Weibo post by tipster Experience More, iQOO 14 Pro will feature a straight screen. Meanwhile, another tipster Smart Pikachu suggested that the iQOO may use Samsung screens in its upcoming flagship line this year. This will be a change from OLED panels made by BOE and VisionOX that were used in the past two lineups.

Further in the comment section the tipster mentioned that the difference between the iQOO 14 and 14 Pro models will be a periscope telephoto sensor.

It is expected that both the devices could sport 1.5K and 2.5K resolution screens respectively. iQOO 13 arrived with Snapdragon 8 Elite so it is assumed that in the upcoming series, one device could be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 while the other could feature Dimensity 9400 SoC successor.

It is still early to comment anything on these rumors but readers are advised to take the information with a pinch of salt and wait for more updates.
