Axiom-4 Mission Launched Successfully Today: Falcon 9 Rocket Lifted Off From NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 2:31 AM ET (12:01 PM IST)

After the multiple number of delays and postponement of launch, the Axiom-4 Mission to ISS has finally launched carrying its crew from four different countries. The Falcon 9 rocket assigned with the mission lifted off from the NASA Kennedy Space Center in Florida today.

Axiom-4 Mission – Successfully Launches and Heads its Way to ISS

Today on the 25th of June 2025, at 2:31 AM ET (12:01 PM IST), the Axiom-4 Mission (Ax-4) was successfully launched. As mentioned, the four member crew with Peggy Whitson from the USA as the Mission Commander, Shubhanshu Shukla from India as the Pilot, and Slawosz Uznanski-Wisniewski and Tibor Kapu as Mission Specialists respectively from Poland and Hungary set off to the International Space Station (ISS) on the Falcon 9 rocket. The lift off took place at NASA’s own facility in Florida – from Launch Complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center.

Speaking more, the spacecraft separation has already been confirmed, and the spacecraft carrying the crew members has entered the orbit. Also, the Falcon 9 first stage booster is reported to have landed back at the Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1), Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. About the crew, reports have arrived stating that they are in full health and are out of their spacesuits. The spacecraft is also reported to have crossed the 300 km altitude, and is currently moving at 26,646 km/h.

Tomorrow on the 26th of June 2025, at 5:00 AM ET (2:30 PM IST), the Axiom-4 Mission crew is expected to arrive at the space station. To add, the targeted docking time is set for 7:00 AM ET (4:30 PM IST). By now, the mission has acquired praise and remarks from all around the world, notably from India, Poland, as well as Hungary.
