Axiom-4 Mission Launch Again Postponed: Targeting a New Launch Date in the Coming Days

Following the continuous change of dates since its initial launch date set in May 2025, just a day ahead of the Axiom-4 Mission expected launch, it has been reported that the launch has been called off. A new launch date is said to be targeted in the coming days.

Axiom-4 Mission – Won’t be Launching Tomorrow

Another stand down! From its initial launch date that was set on the 29th of May 2025 – about a month back, due to various technical reasons and issues, the launch of the Axiom-4 Mission was being postponed multiple times, and it was rescheduled to 8th of June 2025, 9th of June 2025, 10th of June 2025, 11th of June 2025, 19th of June 2025, and finally to the 22nd of June 2025 – that is tomorrow. Unfortunately, as per the information from NASA and received via Dr Jitendra Singh (Union Minister, India), it has been reported that tomorrow’s expected Axiom-4 launch has been called off and it is going to be postponed to a new date in the coming days.

Update on Axiom Mission 4 - X Post

The delay in lift-off is because of certain operational and safety concerns, however the crew still remains quarantined in Florida – fully healthy and in good spirits. Peggy Whitson – Mission Commander from the US (NASA), Shubhanshu Shukla – Pilot from India (ISRO), Slawosz Uznanski-Wisniewski – Mission Specialist from Poland (ESA), and Tibor Kapu – Mission Specialist from Hungary (ESA) are the crew members of the Axiom-4 Mission – the Axiom Space operated spaceflight to the International Space Station (ISS), in collaboration with NASA and SpaceX.
