Elon Musk has finally given the power to all with his $ 8-a-month blue tick verification subscription. He posted on Twitter that Twitter’s current lords & peasants system for who has or doesn’t have a blue checkmark is bullshit. Power to the people! Blue for $8/month.
According to Chief Twitt, the now Price will be adjusted by country proportionate to purchasing power parity.
He even gave some of the features that the person will get with this subscription:
Priority in replies, mentions & search, which is essential to defeating spam/scams – Ability to post long video & audio – Half as many ads.
He also said that there will be a paywall bypass for publishers who are willing to work with Twitter.
He also wrote that This will also give Twitter a revenue stream to reward content creators.
