Media agency Premium Times’ Twitter account gets hacked minutes after their last tweet at 4.32 pm. As per the reports provided by the Foundation of Journalism(FIJ) the Twitter account was hacked by someone with the username vitalik.eth.
The news broke out by A Premium Times reporter who confirmed the situation. He even stated that the organization was working to resolve the issue and was trying to close it up.
The reporter mentioned, “We are aware of the incident, but we are working to resolve it”.
However, there are accurate chances that the account may have been tried to hack by someone attempting to impersonate Vitalik Buterin, a Canadian programmer and co-founder of Ethereum. The fact that Vitalik himself is the real culprit is not clear as the water here. The investigation is still on and the reality is yet to be revealed.
