Is Carl Pei becoming the next big tech reviewer?

OnePlus co-founder and Nothing CEO Carl Pei has lately been in news quite a few times, not only for Nothing Phone being launched but also because of his tweets.

Recently Carl Pei, on his Twitter handle took a dig at the Samsung Galaxy S23 series just after the series was launched. He shared a poll followed by a meme on his Twitter account making fun of the S23 series. These two tweets of his grabbed a lot of attention all over the internet.

Today he posted an image on Twitter of the OnePlus 11 on a box that has Nothing engraved on it. He then asked the users whether he should make review about the phone. Well, his tweet has once again left users curious and excited about the Nothing Phone.

This is not the first time that he will be doing a review on a gadget. Recently he was asked to review Apple iPhone 14 Pro, and obliging to the request of users he reviewed the phone. In the review, Pei praised iPhone 14 Pro’s cameras but felt that the new Dynamic Island feature is slightly overhyped. He also advised users to switch to an Apple iPhone 14 Pro from his Nothing Phone (1) for better photos. The 9-minute 21-second review video was shared on Nothing’s official Youtube channel and has reached over 3 M views. Seems like people really were impressed with the honest reviews by the CEO

After the review video reached 2M views Carl Pei posted about it cracking a joke that he should start a new career as a tech reviewer.

It appears that maybe he is taking his joke seriously and planning to become a tech reviewer as he has asked the users whether he should make a review on OnePlus 11 through his tweet.

OnePlus 11 is all set to arrive in the global market on Feb 7, 2023. Let’s see if Carl Pei decides to make a review video for the users as his previous review video was loved by many.
