Elon Musk takes a dig at The Washington Post , advises them to do a proper research before publishing a article

Whether you like him or hate him , Elon Musk’s tweets are the one thing which you can’t ignore . He is always seen to speak his mind and is never afraid to speak his mind . By reading the headline you might have guessed that this time who is in the radar of Elon Musk .

The reason for Musk taking a dig at the Washington Post is that on February 16 , 2023 they have published a article stating that how Elon Musk reinvented Twitter for his own personal benefit .

In the article the author mentioned that twitter had made major algorithmic changes on Musk’s orders which resulted in users seeing the billionaire’s tweets first . Further it was written that according to Washington Post analysis in February Musk’s posts were artificially boosted , and his view count on tweets increased to 400 million per day which was earlier 137 million times on a typical day . Also the changes like banning live – location , banning journalists who posted about Musk’s private jet location were also accused as Musk’s strategies . In the article author  criticized Musk’s few policies related to twitter .

Seems like because of this article the Washington Post has once again came in the radar of Elon Musk . In the afternoon Musk through his twitter handle said that several major media sources incorrectly reported that his tweets were boosted above normal levels earlier this week .

Though in his tweet he didn’t mentioned the name of media source . He also explained with a following thread that earlier they had a bug , in which besides having 40 M followers  , the views on one of his earlier tweet showed 311M . But later in the evening Musk decided to speak up on the article .

He replied to Washington Post mentioning that their article was false and asked them if they do a proper research before publishing a article . He advised them to read a few tweets before writing a article .This is not the first time Musk and Washington Post have been in a rift , earlier also there has been many incidents where the two had very strong opinions about each other .
