An Indian Government officer described Osama bin Laden as a ‘world’s best engineer’
A government officer has been suspended on Wednesday for posting a picture of Osama bin Laden in his office describing him as the “best junior engineer in the world”.
The name of the officer is Ravindra Prakash Gautam who is a sub-divisional officer (SDO) with the Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd (DVVNL).
This picture went viral on the social media from where the senior district officials took action. They suspended Ravindra for supporting the terrorist. Also, the picture was removed from the social media.
Consequently, on the post, Ravindra captioned, “Respected Osama bin Laden, the best junior engineer in the world”. After the enquiry of the incident, the sub-divisional officer was suspended. However, the officer defended by saying that Osama bin Laden is his idol. Also he stated,“Anyone can be an idol. Osama was one of the best junior engineer of the world. However, the picture has been removed, but I have several copies of it”.
