[Update: Issue Resolved] Airtel Broadband Down in Parts of Delhi, Internet Restoration Expected by 6 AM

Update as of 23 December 2025, 1:14 PM IST: According to official information received, the issue occurred due to a planned backend capacity and maintenance process carried out by Airtel to optimise network performance.

Update: The issue has now been resolved, and users can access the internet via Airtel Broadband.

It’s late at night in Delhi, but some users who are still working and rely on Airtel Broadband are currently facing connectivity issues. Around 1:00 AM IST, several users reported a complete loss of internet access.

One of our readers from Rohini, Delhi, shared that when they opened the Airtel Thanks app to seek support, they received an automated message stating: “Due to a technical issue, you may experience service disconnection for a while. We expect the services to resume by 23/12/2025 at 6:00 AM. We regret the inconvenience caused.” This suggests that the internet outage may continue until 6:00 AM.

In addition, data from Downdetector shows that as of 1:22 AM IST, around 50 users had reported issues with Airtel Broadband. As of now, Airtel has not acknowledged the outage on its official social media channels. At present, the automated message indicating a 6:00 AM restoration time is the only information available regarding when services may be restored.
