In June, Qualcomm officially announced that it will be hosting its Snapdragon Summit 2026 from September 22-24 in Maui, Hawaii. Though the company did not reveal the products to be unveiled at this event, reports suggested that the 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 lineup will be introduced, including the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro.
Yesterday, the company confirmed that it will unveil dual 8 Elite chipsets at this event.

This new announcement from the brand again hints towards the launch of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 lineup.
In related news, just a few days back, the early AnTuTu score of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro leaked online. The upcoming Qualcomm chipset carrying the model number SM8975 has appeared on AnTuTu V11.1.4 and managed to achieve an overall score of 4,835,412 points. Moving on to the GPU, the listing reveals the Adreno 850 GPU.
Notably, the Adreno 850 GPU has already been associated with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro through previous leaks. Digital Chat Station had earlier tipped that the SM8975 chipset would feature the Adreno 850 GPU along with 18MB GMEM, while the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 is expected to feature a slightly toned-down Adreno 845 GPU.
